I am a hospice and palliative medicine physician who takes care of patients with serious illness in the hospital, at home, or in the clinic. My mission is to make complicated medical information easy to understand so patients and their caregivers can feel supported and empowered to make informed choices that align with what matters most to them. While historically I’ve done this work face-to-face in clinical settings, I’ve been exploring how to expand my scope via social media so I can help even more people. I’m also an avid video gamer, and have written about games that promote themes that intersect with my work in palliative care.
