Dr. Madeline M. Strittmatter is a physician specializing in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine with a passion for translating complex medicine into practical, compassionate care and education. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine, recently completed fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine, and is currently completing fellowship training in Sleep Medicine.
Her clinical expertise spans chronic lung disease, critical illness, and sleep disorders, with particular interests in helping patients breathe better, sleep better, and recover stronger. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Strittmatter serves as a clinical trial investigator with Avanza Medical Research Center, contributing to research involving emerging therapies for pulmonary and chronic lung diseases.
Her dedication to medical education and procedural excellence has earned her recognition as the 2026 Fellow Teacher of the Year by the University of Tennessee Health Science Center’s Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine, as well as the 2025 Midwest Introductory Bronchoscopy and Pleural Procedures Course Champion at Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
Dr. Strittmatter is also the founder of Kingdom Living Health, an educational and telehealth initiative focused on pulmonary health, sleep optimization, and recovery after hospitalization and critical illness. As a physician educator, she is passionate about empowering patients and families with evidence-based knowledge so they can better understand their health and become active participants in their care.
