- ABOUT -

Category(ies): Internal Medicine | Obesity Medicine | Physician | Preventive Medicine

Dr. Berger is a dual board-certified internal and obesity medicine physician, a menopause specialist, and the founder of Northeast Medical Practice. Driven by the philosophy that longevity medicine is simply good medicine, his concierge practice focuses on optimizing healthspan, preventing or reversing chronic metabolic disease, and providing broad cancer screening by blood test or imaging as appropriate.
At NMP, lifestyle medicine is foundational. He utilizes body composition analysis and advanced biomarkers, collaborating with an integrated team of an exercise physiologist, nutritionist, and health coach, while using pharmacotherapy as an adjunct tool. Committed to high-touch advocacy, Dr. Berger conducts house calls and directly supports his patients during emergency department visits or hospitalizations. He is a compassionate physician, recognized with the Irwin Berlin Award for Humanism in Medicine during his residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (Elmhurst).
