VIDEO: Should Physicians Be In or Out of ‘The Online’?

Drs. Patel and Corriel discuss some of the pain points of physicians being online, in this raw discussion from a few years back.

VIDEO: Should Physicians Be In or Out of ‘The Online’?

(.. and should we be judged in the same way as others online?)

We cranked out this video years ago, here at SoMeDocs. And we’re now bringing it back to light.

This time, we’re asking whether physicians should be online.

In it, SoMeDocs founder Dana Corriel, MD hopped on a video chat with Tarang Patel, MD, of Doctor Money Matters.

Because w’re physicians, we’re judged a little bit harsher. You’re not being as ‘you’, you’re being judged as ‘you-physician.’ – Tarang Patel, MD @doctormoneymatters

In approximately 8 minutes, you’ll hear us discuss whether physicians should be online, the struggles of physicians being online, and how we could be judged.

“Physicians still love the healing part of healthcare. We just don’t love how healthcare is run. – Dana Corriel, MD of @SoMeDocs, @drcorriel #medtwitter #somedocs”
