Dr. Sabo explains the concept of a lead magnet and how you, as a physician, can use it.

What’s A Lead Magnet and How Can it Help Build Your Business?

Whatever business you have depends on customers, and social media is a great place to build a list of potential customers, if you do it the right way.

Once you build your list, you can market to them by regularly emailing them content you’ve created. By doing this you create value for your prospects. The bigger the list the greater potential for more customers.

One way to build your list is to use a Lead Magnet.

A lead magnet is something of value to your target market with the purpose of getting their contact information. It should solve a problem in your target market.

So the first thing to do is to figure out who your target market is.

Then you need to figure what pains and struggles they have and finally create something of value that solves their problems.

One of my favorite lead magnets is an Ebook:

it provides value, helps people with their problem and can be printed out and used for reference.

Here’s a lead magnet I created- How Anybody Can Get 5+ Leads a Day on Instagram In Just 30 Minutes or Less. It’s a 5 page Ebook that teaches people the basics of how to set up and use Instagram.

Here’s another:

The Immune Boosting Grocery List is an Ebook I recently created.

My goal is to build a list of health conscious people by helping them learn about healthy foods.

Other types of Lead Magnets include videos (ex: 5 great tips to help you lose weight), guides (ex: a PDF on How to use Facebook to grow your business), and a Cheat Sheet (ex: 12 Simple and Effective Ways to Improve Your Skin Complexion).

The way you capture leads with a lead magnet is:

to create a sales funnel.

When prospects sign up for your lead magnet they have to give their email address and they get added to your list.

You then have a list of targeted prospects you can provide value to.

Consider creating a lead magnet since it can be an effective way to attract potential customers to your business.
