Value the Individual and the System Thrives

Dana Corriel, MD asserts that valuing individuals is the first step to necessary change in ANY system functioning today.

December 19, 2023

Valuing individuals is the first step to necessary change in ANY system functioning today. But in healthcare especially, it is palpably absent.

I’m referring to MEANINGFUL value here, so go ahead and convince me I’m wrong if you think so.

Digital ventures are slowly making this return of value into a reality.

How?

By:

  • giving us a space to amplify what doesn’t work.
  • opening up channels through which to connect.
  • putting in our hands tools that can increase individual value.

I was motivated by this concept when I built out the tools on SoMeDocs.

Pushed by the need to disrupt our status quo, I plowed on, and built up over the years, persevering through the nadirs.

We won’t get anywhere by staying in place. No.

We need to move forward, or push whatever is holding us back from the progress that’s so needed in our field.

I hope it’s as clear to you as it is to me just how many incredible opportunities can be made available to you and I – as real experts in the field of health – if we just PUT OURSELVES OUT THERE.

Doctor, start here: it’s the simplest place to start. And it’s now free.

Join our upcoming virtual networking session (for NETWORK level members) to meet others, just like you. Or folks that are different. Mixingup our talents will help us make progress and grow.
