This talk is about the “art” of medicine and how awareness of subtle energy practices can be useful for working with patients. This is especially helpful in patients who are sensitive and often anxious about their doctor visit. I will talk about what Reiki and other similar subtle energy practices are, and then share about my Reiki experiences with patients. I plan to incorporate guided meditations and energy practice so the audience can experience it for themselves. I will share practical techniques that can be used for everyday patient encounters, including for painful procedures.
