Target Audience: Anyone who wants to learn more about ADHD
Identify the Core Executive Functions: Participants will be able to define and describe the three core executive functions – emotion regulation, metacognition, and task switching – and their roles in daily cognitive processes.
Understand the Link Between Executive Functions and ADHD: Attendees will gain an understanding of how deficits in executive functions are commonly manifested in individuals with ADHD.
Discuss Strategies to Enhance Executive Functioning: Attendees will be introduced to evidence-based strategies and interventions that can help improve emotion regulation, metacognition, and task switching in individuals with ADHD.
Foster a Holistic Understanding of ADHD Management: Finally, participants will be able to integrate knowledge of emotion regulation, metacognition, and task switching into a comprehensive approach for managing ADHD and reducing procrastination.
