Uncreative Laggards Only Hold You Back

Daniel Paull MD. explains why lobbying congress is the wrong move for real change in our healthcare system.

We don’t need to wait for congress to act to change our healthcare system.

In fact, we shouldn’t wait for congress to act… because they may never do the right thing.

Of course you could spend years and millions on lobbying, hoping that you can get a fair bill written up and sent in. And then hope that it goes through, and hope that it becomes enforced. A lot of wishful thinking in this scenario.

Also, if you do decide to lobby, you face extremely well funded and intelligent lobbying arms of multi billion dollar companies who desperately want to keep the status quo. Good luck with that fight.

But shouldn’t we fight anyways. Yes of course we should! But we need t to fight for change intelligently, and that does not involve the legislative process in most cases.
