The Speaker

Annahieta Kalantari, DO
Dr. Annahieta Kalantari, or Dr. AK to many, is a board-certified emergency medicine physician and the heart behind The Whole Human Health and Wellbeing. After earning a Bachelor of Science from Pennsylvania State University, she went on to receive her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Along the way, she’s worn many hats in medical education, always focusing on helping others learn and grow.

During her years in emergency medicine, Dr. Kalantari noticed how often patients with chronic conditions would return to the ER. She realized that many could significantly improve their health with some lifestyle changes, but the brief ER visits made it challenging to make a lasting impact. She developed her practice to transition from taking care of patients in the emergency department to helping them stay out of the hospital. Her mission is simple: to make every patient feel like part of the family, provide a warm and welcoming environment, and offer the latest in evidence-based care.

Outside of work, Dr. Kalantari enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two boys. Family adventures are her favorite way to recharge. She’s excited to bring her passion for patient care to this new practice and can’t wait to get to know you!
