about the organizer

in short:

I am a board certified psychiatrist that has cared for women and children for more than 20 years, guiding them toward wellness using whatever tools are available and best suited for their needs, including mindfulness, meditation and relaxation. I am a potter who is thankful that it has helped me manage the stress that life brings. Art has the power to heal. I am a foodie and enjoy cooking for others; bringing people together to explore flavors and cultures and stories over delicious food. Community and laughter is a path to wellbeing.
