I’m a board certified infectious diseases physician (MD) and researcher (PhD), with over 15 years of experience in global health, clinical trials, and community implementation work. I reverse migrated to Bangkok, Thailand close to a decade ago and created my own independent consultancy. Currently I serve as a technical expert, clinical trial protocol chair, and medical monitor in the fields of HIV, viral hepatitis, and sexually transmitted infections. I am passionate about increasing access to research, diagnostics, and treatment in low and middle income countries, especially among marginalized populations (LGBTQI, sex workers, and people who use drugs) who are disproportionately affected by infectious diseases.
I am also a career and life coach and the founder of Catalyzing Clarity, a Youtube channel sharing stories and coaching tips. I coach physicians who are thinking about exploring a job or career change, in the process of pivoting, or at a point where they may want to do something totally out of the box.
I received my MD and master’s in public policy from University of Michigan, I completed internal medical residency, infectious diseases fellowship, and my PhD in clinical investigation at Johns Hopkins University. I also hold coach certifications from the Life Coach School and completed Positive Intelligence training.
