I am a physician leader, educator, and speaker specializing in Sleep Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Critical Care, with extensive experience translating complex medical science into engaging, practical, and accessible conversations.
As an Associate Professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine–Tucson, I regularly lecture medical students, residents, and fellows on sleep medicine, pulmonary and critical care topics, and the evolving science of sleep and health. My speaking experience extends beyond the University of Arizona and includes invited lectures at other universities, regional and professional conferences, including the Southwest Osteopathic Medical Conference, and educational programs for physicians and healthcare professionals.
I have also been invited to speak to audiences outside traditional academic medicine. Most recently, I served as a guest speaker for Banner’s Concierge Medicine program, discussing sleep, wellness, prevention, and longevity. These opportunities have allowed me to connect with audiences ranging from physicians and trainees to executives, patients, and the general public.
In addition, I have built a growing social media presence centered on evidence-based sleep and health education. I regularly discuss topics such as insomnia, sleep apnea, circadian health, women’s sleep, menopause, shift work, and the relationship between sleep and long-term health.
What I bring to the stage is the ability to make science understandable, relevant, and memorable. Whether I am speaking to physicians, students, executives, or the public, my goal is the same: to move beyond simply presenting information and give people something they can understand, remember, and actually use.
