Dr. Melinda Ring is a TEDx speaker who uses her decades as a physician-leader to inspire and empower people to live their best and healthiest lives. Dr. Ring has served as Director of the Osher Center for Integrative Health at Northwestern University and taught integrative and culinary medicine at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine since 2007. She is board certified in integrative, functional, lifestyle and internal medicine and interweaves the principles of each to teach the best ways to reach one’s health and wellness goals.

In her efforts to transform medicine to a more focused on attaining health rather than treating disease, Dr. Ring founded a unique Cooking Up Health culinary medicine training, an integrative medicine fellowship, and serves as core faculty for Duke Leadership Program in Health and Wellbeing. She contributes to textbooks, research articles in the field of Integrative Medicine, has published several books including The Natural Menopause Solution, and is a frequent contributor to news and media outlets.

Dr. Ring has received many awards including the Bravewell Distinguished Service Award, one of the highest honors in the field of integrative health. She is a sought-after speaker for both professional and public audiences as she brings the art and science of healing to life, motivating audiences to create an abundant life of health, meaning and joy.
