I am an accomplished clinician and leader within surgery, as well as critical care medicine and telemedicine. I have had focused experience in front-line clinical work and experience teaching at HonorHealth, Boston Children’s Hospital, and George Washington; the latter has led to multiple teaching awards including receiving Resident Teacher of the Year Award in 2016. During my residency, concurrently, I obtained my Masters in Business Administration, with a focus on Healthcare. In addition to having been trained and board certified in both General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care, I also had previously received a Masters in Public Health in both Epidemiology and Maternal and Child Health and was awarded Outstanding Leader in Public Health at Tulane University. This helped the procurement of several grants totaling over $75k, as well as giving me the educational foundation to write over 50 publications.
