Dr. Sarah Bonza is a board-certified family physician who is passionate about helping women through the midlife transition. She combines holistic and traditional medicine in her practice, Bonza Health. Her team includes physicians, naturopaths, wellness coaches, nutritionists, fitness professionals, yoga instructors and meditation facilitators. She is a practicing member of the Menopause Society and prescribes FDA-approved hormone therapy for patients who qualify. She completed training with the Institute of Functional Medicine to help those women who prefer naturopathic solutions. She studied with Wellcoaches and is a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach. She advocates for a whole food plant-based diet for women undergoing this transitional time. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine and helps women implement the pillars of Lifestyle Medicine to help them thrive and ward off chronic disease. During her training at the Ohio State University College of Medicine, she received the American Academy of Family Physicians Arnold P. Gold Award for Humanism in Medicine. She is an advocate for the aging woman in the workplace.
