In 2024, Dr. Ruchir P. Patel, launched his own podcast, The Real Sleep Doc, in effort to provide a non-biased, relaxed discussion on all things related to sleep medicine and sleep disorders to help combat the disinformation and misinformation being spread on the media by non-physicians and individuals without any formal training in Sleep Medicine.
