As a psychiatrist, I have a deep passion for caring for the mental health of individuals and communities. My profession offers me the gratifying experience of understanding human beings and assisting in making their lives content and peaceful. My life journey through two different continents have offered me an enriching cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity of experiences that allow me to empathize with people from a broad array of backgrounds.
I am a child and adolescent and an adult psychiatrist. It is a privilege to serve the patients across age groups. I am also trained as a forensic psychiatrist and work in the area where medical fields intersects with the law. I am also a teacher and offer education to aspiring psychiatry trainees. I work as a clinical researcher where I work on projects aiming at advancing the field of psychopharmacology and novel treatments. I have presented my work at numerous national meetings and received accolades for my work. My goal as a human being is to serve the people, advance the field of psychiatry, and advocate for mental healthcare.
