Rebecca Andrews MS MD

Professor of Medicine, coffee lover, mom

About

Rebecca Andrews, M.S. M.D. is lucky enough to have found her three true callings in life: being a mom, practicing primary care internal medicine, and educating future doctors at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, CT.  As a subject matter expert in chronic pain, Dr. Andrews also serves as UConn Health’s lead for the CT Comprehensive Pain Center. With her focus on system redesign and refocusing the lens on the physician/patient relationship, she leads UConn’s Patient-Centered Medical Home. She hopes her national leadership roles with the American College of Physicians has led to healthcare improvements for docs and patients. Her two sons, an unabashed love of coffee and trivia, and half marathon training rule her world.
