Tyler Bates, D.O., is an Air Force Flight Surgeon. In the clinic he is a PCP for pilots and flight crew but his duties do not end there. Additional duties include public health and OSHA inspections along with flying backseat in supersonic aircraft. He has special medical interests in conservative spine care, nocebo effect, and preventive medicine. Outside of medicine he loves mountain biking, skiing, scuba diving, and photography. On social media he has developed “Musculoskeletal Minute” a YouTube channel and podcast about evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal pain with a focus on osteopathic manipulation.
