Born in India, moved to US in 1993. Trained at Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Research-Residency) in Bronx, NY and then moved to University of Washington (Fellowship and later faculty) in Seattle. My entrepreneurial skills flourished in Seattle, and we brought our first startup, Wellzio, Inc. to market. After 20 years of traditional outpatient practice, switched exclusively to inpatient Gastroenterology/Hepatology. Currently working on bringing our patient engagement platform to market and enjoying more complex clinical practice.
