Dr. Maryal Concepcion is a Filipinx creator and connector. I discovered my love of being a cradle to grave family physician while at Creighton Med School on a rotation in Superior, NE. I trained for residency in Modesto preparing to be a rural family doc and moved to rural Northern CA after residency. I worked in the broken corporate model of medicine because I did not know any other option than to be employed. Then, I learned about DPC and the bands holding my wings were clipped. Now, I fly free as a Direct Primary Care physician being able to practice medicine how I have always wanted to. With this freedom, I am charged up to share with other physicians the power of the Direct Primary Care model. I will tell any and all about DPC because the model is truly at the core of how we will take back healthcare.

Dr. Stephanie Arnold is a DPC physician and LGBTQ+ advocate, addresses the vital importance of physician autonomy in providing affirming care in politically fraught environments.

Dr. Pouneh Alizadeh is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist and founder of Flourish Gynecology, a direct care telemedicine practice. She also is a locums physician and medical director for a digital health start up.

Dr. Meena Julapalli is triple board-certified in pediatrics, dermatology, and pediatric dermatology. After 7 years in academics as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Pediatrics at the University of Texas – Austin and the University of Colorado, she opened up her own direct care pediatric dermatology practice, Bluebird Dermatology, in Houston, Texas. Dr. Julapalli is passionate about providing comprehensive, integrative, and personalized care that acknowledges and supports more than just the physical aspects of her patients’ skin conditions but also their unique social and emotional needs as well. She believes that by fostering sacred relationships of love, trust, and mutual respect and creating an environment and community whereby children and families affected by skin disease feel seen, heard, understood, valued, and supported, they are empowered, transformed, and healed in profound and life-changing ways. Dr. Julapalli has been blessed to facilitate and witness these transformations through her involvement with support groups and camp programs throughout the country, including the American Academy of Dermatology-sponsored Camp Discovery, Paul Newman’s SeriousFun Network, and the American Camp Association, as well as through local workshops and healing circles that she leads. She is the founder of The Joyful Path, whose mission is to help children build the intuition of how to nourish their mind, body, and soul so that they may live, love, and serve generously with an open heart, intention, and purpose.
