Open Doors, Even as you Build Your Brand

Dana Corriel, MD, teaches that there's no one-size-fits-all, where it comes to branding, and that it won't happen overnight.

Do you have a “brand”?

Do you know what a “personal brand” is or how it can help you grow as a physician and open up doors to new opportunities?

I didn’t. Until I built one, unknowingly.

And then, when doors started to open, I realized what I had done, and decided to shape it – slowly but surely – into something more substantial.

It takes years, realistically.

So anyone who thinks it happens overnight should think again.

I’ve been at it for many and have grown a lot. And I’m still shaping mine!

Look at Facebook. No one can argue that the venture and “brand” isn’t a success.

And yet, it still changes regularly.

WordPress? New versions. Every. Other. Month.

The plugins within WordPress? Those too!

Everything changes as it grows. Even already-successful ventures.

Impactful brands never cease to expand, to learn, and to evolve.

In the meantime, even as you continue to SHAPE your brand, you can begin to enjoy incredible opportunities that come your way.

I’ve been asked to help build companies.

Offered to consult, for pay!

Speaking engagements have certainly come my way.

Board positions, even.

And you’re no different, docs!!

Each of us has something REALLY UNIQUE inside of us. Each of us has the ability to grow a brand in a ridiculously unique direction and to stand out from the rest.

This is what I’m trying to pass on, through SoMeDocs.

I’m building a website that showcases each of you, and the badass uniqueness you bring to the table.

I’m hoping our upcoming membership also allows you to gain fresh ideas, and that our members-only projects can help sharpen your brands.

We need a space that is open to all of our work, and that showcases everything we do, in neatly categorized sections.

That’s doctorsonsocialmedia.com.
