Dr. Nupur Garg is an emergency medicine physician at a hospital in CT. She completed a dual bachelor degree from MIT in 2007 and received her MD from Yale School of Medicine in 2012. She also works as a healthcare consultant on physician performance and innovation and has started two healthcare-related companies. She tinkers with devices and has won the MIT Hacking Medicine hackathon for a telemedicine device. She is the immediate past Resident Fellow of Annals of Emergency Medicine. In her personal research, she aims to further her work in complex systems modeling of healthcare systems and human physiology. She has spoken at ACEP, SAEM (regional and national), AMIA, and SMACC.
