Dr Nerissa Bauer is a behavioral pediatrician entrepreneur who has a part time pediatric behavioral health private practice in her neighborhood in Carmel, IN and is the creator of TEACH Me ADHD, a course for kids (ages 8-12) to take with the parents so they can learn all about ADHD together with other families! She has a passion for helping families navigate life with ADHD. She was diagnosed with ADHD at 47 years of age. She has been a top doctor in her community for multiple years. She is a member of the ADHD Expert Consortium in partnership with QbTech. She is a spokesperson for the American Academy of Pediatrics on developmental and behavioral topics and has served as an executive committee member for various Sections and Councils within the AAP. She served as the AAP liaison for the revised adolescent depression guidelines and chaired the Technical Assistance Advisory Committee to the AAP STAR Center. She is the podcast host of TEACH to Go for her membership community. She is a former academic that decided to go off the beaten path when burnout hit in 2018. She is also a student member of ADDCA (ADD Coaching Academy) and working on ADHD Coaching certification.  She has been interviewed by Parents Magazine, TeenVogue, BuzzFeed News and other outlets regarding child development and mental health. She appeared in a documentary for high quality early childhood education that aired on public television.
