- ABOUT -

Category(ies): Physician | Student-Focus/Training | Surgery

I am a wrestling coach trapped inside a neurosurgeon’s body.  I love my wife, my children, my family, medicine, the sport of wrestling, the outdoors, my dog Bree, and two cats Fruitcake and Captain Jack Sparrow. In college I majored in philosophy and continue to study, think, write and live in a philosophical way.  I coach youth wrestling in the inner city of Trenton, New Jersey.  I’ve been a guest lecturer on Human Performance at West Point for the past ten years and written a book called Cognitive Dominance: A Brain Surgeon’s Quest To Out Think Fear.
