Dr. Yearwood is a board-certified physician with nearly 20 years of emergency medicine experience and a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner. She is the founder of Jessica Yearwood MD PLLC, a women’s midlife health clinic built to address a critical and often overlooked gap in menopause and midlife care. Her background includes an academic appointment at the Yale School of Medicine, board service in a private single-specialty physician group, and medical leadership within a large multispecialty healthcare system. She brings deep expertise in operations, workflow optimization, and team leadership, with a systems-level understanding of care delivery and a focus on process improvement, efficiency, and high-value care.
Trained in emergency medicine, Dr. Yearwood developed expertise in evaluating and managing complex, high-stakes, and often overlapping clinical presentations—an approach she now applies to midlife health, where nuance and individualized care are essential.
