I’m an OB Hospitalist.I love the excitement that comes with being on Labor and Delivery, and the ability to focus my practice in this way. I truly enjoy getting to meet women at such a meaningful time in their lives! I decided to pursue additional training and become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) after I had my first child. It was then that I realized how little breastfeeding education I had received in my training. Ninety hours of lectures, 1,000 hours of clinical experience, and one board exam later and I became an IBCLC! I love how this has made me a better obstetrician and supporter of my patients.

I am a board-certified OB/GYN as well as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). This means I am uniquely qualified to help women across the lifespan and during their breastfeeding years – a time we know women need trustworthy, evidence-based support. I work as an OB Hospitalist, a medical writer for Bundoo (www.Bundoo.com), and a medical advisor for The Wellness Network. I love educating women and colleagues alike in an approachable, relatable way!
“I believe that women deserve a doctor who is approachable and honest. Someone who takes the time to listen to them and to see them as a person.”
