In his role at Thalamus, Dr. Reminick leads an amazing team whose mission is to ensure that the right doctor trains at the right hospital to treat the right patients (and vice versa). They achieve this vision by building software that streamlines recruitment for residency/fellowship applicants and programs by eliminating unnecessary phone calls/emails allowing candidates to book interviews in real-time (similar to Open Table), while acting as a process-specific applicant tracking system (ATS) for hospitals and institutions. Thereby, Thalamus provides a comprehensive online interview scheduling and travel coordination via a real-time scheduling system – online and mobile, including support of virtual interviews, automated itinerary building, and AI/ML application review! The software is used by over 300+ academic institutions and health systems (including 98 of the top 100 hospitals by size), 2500+ residency/fellowship programs and 90% of all new US physicians annually (and 40% of practicing US physicians to-date).
