I am passionate about the Direct Care movement as it saved me from giving up on a profession that I respect and am so honored to serve in. My mission these days is to first serve my patients and secondly educate others on how to save the individual physician private practice.

I’m a board certified podiatric physician and surgeon who started Torres Hodges Podiatry, in 2001 and transitioned to a 100% direct care specialty practice in 2017. I went into medicine to treat patients, and believe that anything that gets between doctors and their ability to do that for their patient is part of the problem. I co-founded D2PMedicus Consulting, to educate and coach physicians as they change their perspectives and transition out of a broken healthcare system.
