I am passionate about the Direct Care movement as it saved me from giving up on a profession that I respect and am so honored to serve in. My mission these days is to first serve my patients and secondly educate others on how to save the individual physician private practice.

I’m a board certified podiatric physician and surgeon who started Torres Hodges Podiatry, in 2001 and transitioned to a direct care specialty practice in 2013. I went into medicine to treat patients and believe that anything that gets between doctors and their ability to do that for their patient is part of the problem. In addition to my practice, I am a consultant and business strategist for private practice physicians and a staunch advocate to educate our communities on how to navigate and transition out of our broken healthcare system.
