Sinai Hospital of Baltimore’s Department of Pediatrics is seeking a Pediatric Cardiologist Division Director to join our team. In this full-time role, you’ll provide inpatient, outpatient, and procedural care.

Responsibilities and Opportunities:

• Outpatient Care: Work at local satellite facilities for outpatient clinics and procedures.
• Faculty Appointment: Qualify for faculty appointments, which are available through our affiliated medical institution and are commensurate with experience.

• Coverage: Provide and receive day and night call coverage as needed; contribute to the Division’s monthly on-call schedule.
• Leadership and Oversight: Attend monthly departmental faculty and pediatric leadership meetings; meeting regularly with the Chair and Department Director to review the Division’s performance and discuss programmatic and strategic initiatives.
• Operations and Issue Resolution: Make recommendations to optimize clinical operations and performance while collaborating with the practice manager/designee to address and resolve any Division office issues.
• Mentorship: Participate in the pediatric residency program through teaching, clinical research, mentoring, and committee involvement, including working with international medical students.

• Medical degree obtained from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Cardiology.
• Ability to successfully obtain Maryland Medical License without restrictions.
• Current or obtainable DEA certificate and Maryland CDS license.
• Clinical experience in Pediatric Cardiology.
• Demonstrate strong interest in working within an academic environment and demonstrate teaching competence in pediatrics for medical students and residents
