Hi group,
I’m currently juggling a full-time practice as an anesthesiologist and my side gig as a medical consultant for a pharmaceutical company, which has presented its fair share of challenges. 10 years out of training.
Recently, I was asked to review a medication that raised concerns about safety and efficacy. I’m doing my best to balance potential conflicts of interest and the careful ethical considerations that are instilled in me.
Does anyone know of similar circumstances? What are some considerations that I should be aware of, when considering ethics?
