I had no idea that I’d get a blank screen to light up across from me, when I hopped on to this Zoom.

Instead of a human face, I got the avatar-sketch of a historical figure, a British physician who had experienced burnout, and took breaks to tend to self-care.

Behind the avatar, I connected with the gentle-voiced human that’s pouring so much good into the world.

And apparently, anonymously is how this doctor rolls!

To protect his privacy, and the privacy of those that he helps, he keeps his identity secret.

Gotta give the guy respect!

Take a listen to why he does things anonymously, and what he’s built up to help with the burnout of today. Find his venture at physiciansanonymous.org.

This episode features a shoutout to Dr. Diana Londoño, who can be found in our directory, and whose SoMeDocs magazine articles can be found in that profile, too.
