Collaboration is one of my core values. It’s how I wound up in a Moscow Maternity hospital on a USAID grant catching one of three premature triplets in 1993. And today, I consider caring for teens and tweens a joint effort between myself, the patient, their parents and my staff. With over twenty five years experience as a parent and general pediatrician, I embrace kids in all forms. I believe in education and transparency because the internet, social media and the pandemic have changed the playing field of childhood. My interests in medicine include coaching parents, adolescents, dermatology and LGBTQ+ issues. Outside of medicine, I am the parent of two young adult sons, an artist, a traveler, and an emerging writer for middle grade and YA readers.
