Demetrio J. Aguila III MD FACS is a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology, specializing in peripheral nerve surgery and the surgical management of acute and chronic pain, as well as general plastic, reconstructive, and microsurgery and general otolaryngology. As a peripheral nerve surgeon, Dr. Aguila is one of the only surgeons world-wide to offer micro-invasive carpal tunnel surgery and micro-invasive trigger finger surgery with real-time ultrasound guidance, allowing patients to return to work the same day, without restrictions. A former US Air Force combat flight surgeon, Dr. Aguila served in 46 states and 31 countries.

Dr. Aguila is the CEO and President of Healing Hands of Nebraska and the founder of Healing Hands of America, a 501(c)3 non-profit that oversees the revolutionary M25 Program (https://m25program.com) offering innovative options for specialty care while avoiding crushing medical debt, recently featured in CNN’s Champions for Change, as well as Operation WARRIOR’S HOPE (https://youtu.be/hYyzs7asLW0), providing world-class medical and surgical care to our combat-wounded Purple Heart recipients at no charge to the patient.
