I am a family physician with a side gig as a wildlife veterinarian.
On the human medicine side, I currently work full-time in family medicine in a private office within a large Family Health Team. In the past I also did emergency medicine (CCFP-EM) as well as remote/rural practice where I worked in the office, hospital, and emergency department.
I also have a DVM as well as a post-graduate veterinary degree in zoo & wildlife medicine & pathology (called a D.V.Sc). In my spare time, I serve as a consultant veterinarian for a local wildlife rehabilitation clinic.
I am passionate about the intersection of human & veterinary medicine.
I am even more passionate about my main hobby, which is riding & training horses primarily in dressage, but also a bit of jumping and even carriage driving! I live on my own 36-acre hobby farm where my “inner spirit” blossoms and is celebrated.
