Daniel Kessler, D.O. ABFM ABIHM IFMCP provides superior consulting services for clients through Healis Health. He also applies custom tailored solutions based on functional medicine and swiss biologic medicine principles for patients interested in these evaluation and treatment areas. In addition, he is a mentor for physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners helping them to transition into a thriving functional medicine practice, acquire world class functional medicine skills and practice medicine the way it is meant to be.

In addition, he speaks on topics such as Telemedicine Implementation, Wellness, Leadership, Diabetes Reversal and is very flexible for presentations based on the needs of consulting clients.

After undergraduate studies at Emory University, he worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta Georgia for two years where he was actively involved in research studying the effects of environmental toxins on health at the National Center for Environmental Health before finishing his medical school at NOVA Southeastern University.

Subsequently, he successfully completed his medical training at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville Florida and is double board certified in Family Medicine as well as Integrative Holistic Medicine. In addition, he is certified as one of the first groups of global practitioners of the Institute of Functional Medicine and holds certifications in Swiss Biologic Medicine through the Paracelsus Clinic out of Switzerland.

Born and raised in Germany, Dr. Kessler grew up and witnessed first hand in his parents’ clinic (one of the leading functional medicine practices in Europe), how functional medicine made a difference in the health of patients and he also believes medications are not always the answer.

We must take a personalized medical approach for chronic medical diseases. Dr. Kessler believes that physicians act as facilitators for patients’ health, so that patients have to play an active role in their health.

When he does not compete in international table tennis tournaments or writes his own music on his piano, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful family.
