Christos Tsagkaris is a Medical Doctor from Greece currently working as a Research Fellow in the Department of Orthopedics of the Balgrist University Hospital in Zurich, Switzerland. Christos has worked as a research or clinical intern in academic institutions in Lebanon, Brazil, Taiwan and Mexico. In March 2020, he gave a talk at TEDx Larissa in Greece and in March 2019 he was selected to attend the Human Space Physiology training course of the European Space Agency. He has a keen interest in digital health and medical humanities. He has authored articles and book chapters in peer reviewed journals and books, has taken part in numerous conferences as a presenter or member of the organizing committee and has received awards for scientific projects, healthcare advocacy and literary writing.
