Dr. Christopher Brown, MD, MPH, FACP, is a board-certified nephrologist and nationally recognized expert in hypertension and early-stage chronic kidney disease. With over a decade of clinical leadership, Dr. Brown combines academic rigor, public health expertise, and a deep commitment to lifestyle-focused care. He is board certified in both internal medicine and lifestyle medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP).
Dr. Brown is the President and founder of PressureMD®️, a hybrid medical practice dedicated to transforming care for individuals with high blood pressure and kidney disease. His innovative model integrates evidence-based medicine with personalized lifestyle interventions, with a mission to close health equity gaps—particularly for African American men. Under his leadership, PressureMD®️ has rapidly grown by delivering accessible, high-quality, and prevention-oriented care.
Dr. Brown not only assists individuals with care, leaning on his public health background he also serves to uplift the health of communities. He is a respected voice in community health education, regularly contributing articles to publications such as Mahogany Columbus and the New Salem Missionary Baptist Church newsletter. As a faculty member of Made for Medicine, he mentors aspiring Black physicians, helping to build a more diverse and equitable healthcare workforce.
Dr. Brown also hosts Health Facts, a weekly radio segment on WVOE—the first Black-owned radio station in the southeastern United States—where he delivers practical, culturally relevant health education to rural and underserved communities.
