Dr. Cemre Busra Turk completed her dermatology and venereology training in Istanbul, Turkey. Currently, she serves as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Wellman Center for Photomedicine, Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Her clinical interest lies in the interplay between the skin and mind, specifically focusing on the pediatric population. Her research interest is in photomedicine and potential treatment options for birthmarks. She is notably recognized for her work on Body Dysmorphic Disorder and Zoom Dysmorphia. She has authored a chapter on Dermatitis artefacta, Psoriasis and Suicidality for the forthcoming “Clinical Psychodermatology: A Case-Based Approach” book. In addition to her contributions, Dr. Turk is an active member and volunteer of several national and international dermatology societies.
