Dr. Bowers is a Family Medicine Physician. He attended the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan. Thereafter, he began his military career and intern year as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton. Returning home to Michigan to finish Residency after serving his military commitment, he discovered a passion for physician wellness and burnout and now writes in his blog, “Badge of Burnout”, aiming to help normalize and understand the unique mental health struggles physicians face.
