Ella’s choice is a mental health book about consent and boundaries. My hope is that this book will facilitate very early discussion around consent and boundaries and encourages parents to model such a behaviour. I hope that it can be part of bigger movement towards abuse prevention by getting parents to make the connection between boundary crossing, grooming behaviours and abuse. I hope that it helps children develop the language to tell parents when someone makes them uncomfortable. For that reason Included a parental guide and created illustrations and rhymes to target age 3+.
