I am a pediatrician with over 25 years of clinical practice experience. After leaving clinical medicine three years ago I created Happynestmd, a parenting consulting company, to fill in the gaps I encountered in my own pediatric practice. I have learned a simple fact over the years. Happy parents have happy children. Yet so often there was little to no time to address common parenting concerns which lead to parental anxiety and stressed-out children. Teaching parents how to navigate the challenges of raising children takes a lot of time! I provide consultations to families to help address their concerns. I also offer a wide range of parenting classes and will be rolling out a Collaborative Parenting class to bring together first-time parents so that they can learn from one another and develop a support network. I am also the medical director of Forefront, a nonprofit organization that provides water, education, empowerment and medical care to communities in rural India.
