Dr. Schneider is board certified in psychiatry, addition medicine, and geriatric psychiatry. He had a prior career in psychiatric research and remains highly involved in teaching. While maintaining a private practice throughout his career he has held clinical assistant and associate professorships at UCLA, UCI, and USC Schools of Medicine. Besides prior leadership positions, he maintains ongoing interest in the treatment of depressive and anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, and attention deficit disorder. He was an original researcher in transcranial magnetic stimulation.
