Dr. Gebhard is a Family Practice Physician in Western New York, currently on the Board of Directors of Physician Just Equity. She was the 2019-2020 President of the American Medical Women’s Association and is currently the AMWA Representative to the American Medical Association Women Physician Section Governing Council (2019-20230 where she is one of 8 physicians who represent more than 100,000 women physicians in the AMA. Dr. Gebhard was the founder of the AMWA Gender Equity Task Force, where she serves as Chair Emeritus. She currently works in the Gender Equity in Medicine space and works as a peer supporter for physicians who have experienced workplace inequities. She is proud to be on the DoctHERS Steering Committee and is currently on the UB Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences Medical School Admissions Committee where she has served since 1998.
